Relining of Dentures
After three years following completion of the new set of dentures, it is time to maintain the Complete Natural Smile which will require relining or rebasing of the dentures. The signs are: the dentures becoming looser, food moving under the dentures and when eating the false teeth take more effort to control and as well as loss of facial and lip support.
An appointment must be made for a morning session for impression taking with the denture in concern and final fitting of the denture that same evening. Following database records and facial measurements made in the morning, an accurate impression is made utilising the denture and strict processing procedures, establishing the new fitting surface of the denture, is made to ensure an accurately fitted and well supported relined denture is made.
